李家明

男,物理学家,1945年出生于云南昆明,1968年毕业于台湾大学电机工程系,1974年获美国芝加哥大学物理系博士学位,1991年当选为中国科学院院士(学部委员),1992年当选为第三世界科学院院士。现任清华大学原子分子测控科学中心主任、中国科学院物理研究所研究员。


研究方向

研究发展了多通道量子数亏损理论;应用量子电动力学于高能原子过程,阐明了电子轫致辐射过程(高能光子能区)和辐射复合过程的内在关系;建立相对论性多通道量子数亏损理论,为分析高离化度、高Z原子的激发态能级结构建立了理论基础;建立了非相对论性多重散射的分子自洽场理论计算方法,并阐明分子里德伯态的电子结构;同时建立了原子超越自洽场的多通道理论计算方法,以阐明电子关联效应。

研究领域

从事原子分子物理、计算物理、理论物理方面的研究。
研究内容围绕着研究发展量子多体理论和计算方法; 可以对原子、分子、团簇体系的物理性质和有关动力过程进行定量的理论计算和描述。面向着纳米科学的需要:即原子分子层次超灵敏探测、识别、操纵与控制方面,进行理论计算研究。
(a) 应用第一原理分子动力学模拟,研究纳米管的性质;探索新型的半导体纳米管;研究了各种表面上吸附原子运动的机制。
(b) 根据时间关联函数理论并结合紧束缚分子动力学模拟,研究分子团簇的红外吸收谱和振动谱,以及电离和离解复合
(c) 研究分子近阈结构;研究分子广义振子强度;发展超越自洽的分子理论计算方法。
(d) 根据相对论多通道理论,研究了原子(离子)的高激发态能级结构和自电离态结构;研究原子的双激发能级结构,阐明电子关联作用
(e) 应用R矩阵方法,结合通道方法,研究原子广义振子强度及振子强度密度规律。

学术成就

长期致力于原子、分子激发态结构和其动力过程之基础研究,发展了多通道量子数亏损理论。应用量子电动力学于高能原子过程,建立了相对论性多通道量子数亏损理论,建立了原子超越自洽场的多通道原子理论计算方法、非相对论性多重散射的分子自洽场理论计算方法。最近还致力于团簇物理的理论研究,面向纳米科学的研究发展需要。发表学术论文约160篇,合著出版专著《X射线激光》。因为他在原子分子理论方面作出的贡献,1986年获得国际理论物理中心(ICTP)的Kastler奖。1990 年获中国科学院自然科学奖二等奖,被评为中国科学院有突出贡献的中青年专家。1991年被评为中国科学院(七五)重大科研任务先进工作者。1992 年获中国科学院自然科学奖二等奖。1994年被国防科学技术工业委员会评为在863计划科研工作中的先进个人。2001年获中国人民解放军总装备部和国家科技部863计划十五周年先进个人奖。2002年获得国家科技部何梁何利科技进步奖(物理学)。
